There are three classes of members: regular, county and associate members.
• Regular member: an individual, partnership or corporation engaged in the production of beef, or a landowner receiving income from land rentals for the production of beef, holding joint membership in the California Cattlemen’s Association and the Monterey County Cattlemen’s Association.
• County member: an individual, partnership or corporation engaged in the production of beef, or a landowner receiving income from land rentals for the production of beef, holding a membership in only the Monterey County Cattlemen’s Association.
• Associate member: An associate member is an individual, partnership or corporation interested in supporting the welfare of the cattle industry.
